TAME is a new genre in books. It's considered ESP: An Existential Social Panoramic of a single series. The collective effort of both Author & Artists to create a series with different points of view to understand how the world is put together.

Lighter than a Graphic Novel, an ESP book contains 'Fan Art' in place of a single artist creating the entire look to the series.

Multiple artists are chosen to draw the images within the book. The Author gets to choose the art work that best represents his or her story.

Each image style and medium can be different from one page to another, giving the book a unique flow.

How is one chosen for the book?

Inside the first print of a new book, a contest is set up where artists can submit their art on highlighted scenes within the book to the author's site. When the second print is issued, the art that was chosen is included from what the author accepted.

What's in it for the artist? The artist's that submitted and were picked for the second print get a chance at drawing the cover to the next book in the series, creating a perpetual contest during the entire run of the new series.

Connecting fans of a series to the author has always been the responsibility of a book publisher, but with the current ease of self-publishing an entire new realm of possibilities has been opened to connect authors and artists. True fans of any series will find this to be a highly addictive way to get an artist's name out there for readers to see. It'll also be more of a collaboration between authors and artists on how to create a new series. Who knows, if a book gets into the top sellers list, it could throw that artist into the spotlight.
